RIFF - the Reykjavik International Film Festival goes from 22 September - 02 October. The ticket prices for the 2011 festival are as follows.

The festival pass is 9.200 ISK. The pass gives access to every screening at the festival.

The coupon card goes for 7.500 ISK. The card gives access to eight screenings, and more than one person can use the card, for example if eight people want to see the same film together.

A ticket to an individual screening is 1.100 ISK.

RIFF venues will be all around town with the main venues being Háskólabíó (The University Theatre), Bíó Paradís (former Regnboginn), The Nordic House, Hafnarhúsið (The Reykjavik Art Museum) Tjarnarbíó and Iðnó.

Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF) was founded in 2004 by a group of film enthusiasts and professionals with the goal of creating an annual international film festival in Reykjavik.

The aim is to establish a major film event to enrich and enliven the local film culture, but moreover, to become an international attraction.

We believe that by building up an innovative film festival in Reykjavik, our foreign guests will have a unique opportunity to participate in an exciting cultural event, as well as visiting a country renowned for its natural wonders and dynamic culture.
