Saturday night at RIFF - what's going on?

There's plenty happening tonight, and nobody should be bored! One of RIFF's most popular event, the annual swim-in cinema - will take place at Laugardalslaug at 20.00 with a screening of the magnificent The Neverending Story.

For those who enjoy traveling, we recommend checking out Kex Hostel tonight around 21 o'clock where it'll feel more like being in Romania than by the Reykjavík harbor! DJ Nico de Transilvania will play the finest Balkan/Swing/Electro tunes and you'll be able to enlighten your taste buds with Romanian plum brandy 'palinca'.

Tonight's film screenings are as follows (bold means Q&A after screening!): 20:00: Hooked (+The Cage) - Bíó Paradís 1 Wuthering Heights - Háskólabíó 2 20:15: How To Make a Book With Steidl - Norræna Húsið Once Upon a Time in Anatolia - Háskólabíó 3 20:30: Hold Me Tight - Bíó Paradís 4 Fear of Falling - Bíó Paradís 4 20:45: Tuesday, After Christmas - Bíó Paradís 3 21:00: Divine Pig - Iðnó 22:00: Beats, Rhymes & Life: the Travels of a Tribe Called Quest - Bíó Paradís 2 Challenging Impossibility (+The Life and Death of Celso Junior) - Norræna Húsið 22:15: The Snows of Kilimanjaro- Bíó Paradís 1 Raw Material - Bíó Paradís 3 22:30: Sin Retorno - Bíó Paradís 4 Adalbert`s Dream - Háskólabíó 2 23:15: Trollhunter - Háskólabíó 3.

We have all the information you need to book your trip.
Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF) was founded in 2004 by a group of film enthusiasts and professionals with the goal of creating an annual international film festival in Reykjavik.

The aim is to establish a major film event to enrich and enliven the local film culture, but moreover, to become an international attraction.
