Karl Oskarsson does a Q&A

Among the presentations in this year's Open Seas category is the Nordic premiere of the Czech film Three Seasons In Hell, by Tomás Masín. Set in the Prague in 1947, a time of extravaganza, sensuality and great expectations, the film is the story of a 19 year old dandy who runs from home to immerse himself in the good life. But the future turns out to be not quite so silky and silver lined, what with the dark clouds of communism setting in.
Icelandic director of cinematography Karl Óskarsson, who shot Three Seasons In Hell, will attend a screening of the film and participate in Q&A afterwards. The Screening will take place at Bíó Paradís at Hverfisgata 54 , Sunday September 26th at 20:00.

Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF) was founded in 2004 by a group of film enthusiasts and professionals with the goal of creating an annual international film festival in Reykjavik.

The aim is to establish a major film event to enrich and enliven the local film culture, but moreover, to become an international attraction.
