Inni by Sigur Ros to be Opening Night feature at RIFF 2011

Music film "Inni" is the opening feature of the 2011 Reykjavik International Film Festival. The film will be screened as Nordic Premiere, as it comes straight to Iceland from the Venice Film Festival where it held a World Premiere to a thunderous applause.

The venue for the opening night is unusal this year, the concert hall NASA at Austurvöllur square in midtown Reykjavik. The reason? Inni embraces the audience into a direct contect with the band members, quite as if the four of them stood in the flesh before the attending crowd. A unique screening event with a unique film..

Only this one screening will be open for tickets - RIFF Opening night at 22:00, NASA Concert Hall. We advise you to act swiftly.

Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF) was founded in 2004 by a group of film enthusiasts and professionals with the goal of creating an annual international film festival in Reykjavik.

The aim is to establish a major film event to enrich and enliven the local film culture, but moreover, to become an international attraction.
