Iceland Airwaves at RIFF

Where's The Snow?, a documentary on the Iceland Airwaves music festival, will be world premiered at this year's RIFF. Additionally, some of the artists performing at Airwaves, will be performing at the premiere.

The latest film from Sleepless in Reykjavik & Don't Panic Films is a visually-explosive documentary on the Iceland Airwaves Music Festival, featuring 14 of the hottest Icelandic bands with a brand-new take on what it means to be an Icelandic musician performing at Airwaves. Check out Where's The Snow - a film over a year in the making, with a cast of thousands and a crew of... well... three...

After the screening, there will be a special Q&A with the directors.

Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF) was founded in 2004 by a group of film enthusiasts and professionals with the goal of creating an annual international film festival in Reykjavik.

The aim is to establish a major film event to enrich and enliven the local film culture, but moreover, to become an international attraction.

We believe that by building up an innovative film festival in Reykjavik, our foreign guests will have a unique opportunity to participate in an exciting cultural event, as well as visiting a country renowned for its natural wonders and dynamic culture.
