A young man dies in a hit-and-run accident. There is no trace of the guilty driver, but the young man’s father, with the support of the media, demands that the person responsible for his son’s death be hunted down and sent to jail. A series of chance events, combined with the effects of the public pressure on the legal establishment, result in the wrong man being accused. Entangled in a mesh of chance and despair, the characters in the story must face guilt, responsibility and the intimate need for redemption, in an escalation that eventually reaches a point of no return.

Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF) was founded in 2004 by a group of film enthusiasts and professionals with the goal of creating an annual international film festival in Reykjavik.
