RIFF - the Reykjavik International Film Festival goes from 22.September - 02.October.

Our information and ticketing centre is located in Eymundsson, Austurstræti 18. The ticket sale opens on 15.September and is open every day from 1200 - 1900. Please note that the films are only screened a few times during the festival. We strongly recommend securing tickets as soon as the ticket sale opens. Festival pass holders can pick up tickets from 16:00 in Eymundsson the day before screening of each film.

Some films are not suitable for children. Every film either has English subtitles or English dialogue.

Senior citizens and students can buy a festival pass for 7.500 ISK. You can only buy a discounted pass in Eymundsson, not on the web.

Don't forget to print out your receipt and bring it to the ticketing centre when you collect your product!

Kvikmyndatónleikar RIFF 2011 verða haldnir 28. September kl. 21.00 í Fríkirkjunni. Skúli Sverrisson leikur undir sýningu myndarinnar When It Was Blue og Sóley leikur lög af nýútkominni plötu sinni, We Sink, og sýnir vídeóverk um leið.
Keyptu miðann hér og sæktu svo í Eymundsson við Austurstræti frá og með 15.september.
Ekki gleyma að prenta út kvittun og koma með hana þegar þú sækir miðann!

The 2011 RIFF Ciné-concert will be on the 28th of September at 2100 hours at Fríkirkjan. It features award-winning bass and guitar player, Skúli Sverrisson, performing during the screening of the film When It Was Blue. Also performing is Sóley, playing songs from her brand new album, We Sink, while presenting visual works.
Buy your ticket here and pick it up at the Eymundsson bookstore, at Austurstræti, anytime after September 14th.

Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF) was founded in 2004 by a group of film enthusiasts and professionals with the goal of creating an annual international film festival in Reykjavik.

The aim is to establish a major film event to enrich and enliven the local film culture, but moreover, to become an international attraction.

We believe that by building up an innovative film festival in Reykjavik, our foreign guests will have a unique opportunity to participate in an exciting cultural event, as well as visiting a country renowned for its natural wonders and dynamic culture.
